"PETIT CHEMINOT"
de La Chanson du Dimanche

You should listen to this song if : You were welcome with a strike last time you went to France

About this song : The singers mock this French bad habit to go on strike quite frequently. In the lyrics are mentioned the major "strikers", top of them all being the railway men of the French national railway company SNCF. The singers use a British accent (at least what French think is a British accent) and forget some articles ("je veux professeur") as if they were British people discovering France... and stumbling over a strike.

About the author : La chanson du dimanche is a small band of two funny and talented guys, who have recorded every week a new song. Some of these songs are epic, others are just shit. They usually mock an habit or a common set of mind of French people. They can be difficult to understand for foreigners, because they use a lot of "cultural references". Among their hits, you can also listen to "Bonne humeur", "Bluetooth" and "pouvoir d'achat".
